Born and raised in Portland, OR, So-Mai moved to California to earn her Bachelors in Psychology and Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy. Ready to start a family, she moved back home and was determined to engage with her community. She has spent over a decade working in non-profit with families. So-Mai joined Swapnplay as Treasurer in 2015 and has transitioned to Program Director. She hopes to create a healthy, supportive and inclusive environment at Swapnplay while connecting with our vibrant North Portland community.
Jesse Miller – Administrative Coordinator

Jesse Miller, originally from Maryland, moved to Oregon via Florida four years ago. Upon discovering St. Johns Swapnplay, she instantly fell in love, and has been a passionate member ever since. Jesse taught high school French for a decade before welcoming a daughter. She’s been a stay-at-home momma for the last five years, and now that her girl has started kindergarten, she occasionally substitute teaches around Portland, in addition to working for Swap. Jesse and her family are long time ethical vegans with one crazy old pup and a pair of large rabbits. She enjoys traveling and exploring National Parks, reading mysteries, ballroom dancing, and watching The Price is Right when she can. Jesse is dedicated to helping St. Johns Swapnplay grow and thrive.
Anna Congdon – Support Staff

Anna Congdon grew up in Boise, Idaho, and moved to St. John’s in 2016 to attend University of Portland. She’s passionate about music, and teaches private piano lessons in addition to participating in several university ensembles and festivals. She’s currently pursuing a BA in Elementary Education with a Music Education emphasis and Sociology minor. She is looking forward to continued working and learning with Swap!
